When creating NAMUOS products, we focus on solutions that minimise our environmental impact. We know the entire product manufacturing path from the raw materials used to final packaging.

For product finishing, we use sustainable materials, such as water-based varnish, and eco-certified waxes and oils.

Scraps from manufacturing, for example, brass, are recycled and used to create new products. Wool and scraps of leather we give away to design schools, crafters of jewellery or use them to make small presents for our customers. 

Almost all our products are packed in recycled cardboard. Plastic packaging is only used where strictly necessary and unavoidable – for protecting the packaging against moisture or ensuring safety in transportation. Polyethylene (PE) foam and Styrofoam are used for additional protection of extremely fragile items, such as mirrors and ceramics. Packaging materials remaining after transportation, production or other sources are reused in our activities.
